Superstitions
Superstitions are what most people believe in. What is a superstition? How are superstitions created? We have to trace them back to when people were not as educated as we are today. Without knowledge of why things happen the way it is supposed to happen, they begun to find reasons. Like for example, people cross their fingers as when they do it, they will have good luck. Sadly, this cannot be proved by experts. As superstitions are passed down generation to generation, it gradually becomes a custom. It is quite ironic as although superstitions are fictional as fairytales, many chose to believe in the former. I believe that believing in a superstition will have a placebo or nocebo effect.
